The journal «Automation of technological and business processes» was founded in 2009. Its creation has been initiated to the publication by the solution of a composition of I Ukrainian scientifically – practical conference «Information technology and automation-2008» which has taken place on the basis of the Odesa National University of Technology and prolongs annually to be spent. As a part of a log editorial board leading professors – recognized in all Ukraine and it is far behind its limits specialists of automation technological and business – processes. The magazine was registered by the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine Series КВ № 25373-15313ПР from 26.12.2022. The journal «Automation of technological and business processes» is registered by the National Council of Ukraine on Television and Radio Broadcasting. Important information! Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine №918 of August 18, 2021 Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies was reorganized into Odesa National University of Technology.

The scientific and production journal "Automation of technological and business processes" has been included in Category "Б" of the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine in which the results of dissertation research for the degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences may be published (in accordance with the Procedure for forming the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated January 15, 2018, No. 32, as amended by Order dated January 19, 2026, No. 56), pursuant to Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated June 11, 2026, No. 928 "On the Inclusion of Scientific Periodicals in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine" (Appendix 7 — List of scientific periodicals included in the List of Scientific Professional Publications of Ukraine within the cluster "Information Technologies and Electronics").
The journal has been included in the List for a period of three years — from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029.
We are accepting manuscripts for publication in the cluster of Information technologies and electronics: F3 Computer science, F6 Information systems and technologies, F7 Computer engineering, G7 Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics.
Since 2014 our journal is published on the basis of the Open Journal Systems platform Open Journal Systems (OJS) which provides processes of editorial completion, publications and after printing support. Till December 31, 2014 articles can be submitted as e-mail and through the OJS platform, previously having registered as the user there. Since January 1, 2015 materials in the publication will be accepted only by means of the Open Journal Systems platform
The business model based on sponsorship supported. One of sponsor organization is "The young scientists club ONTU".
Third-level higher education students (PhD students) studying under state-funded programs do not have to pay any fees for the processing, review, or publication of articles written solely by themselves (without co-authors).
All publications checking on plagirism by Turnitin( current).
Frequency of the edition – 4 times during the year.
Publisher - Odesa National University of Technology.
There are no charges for publication.
